Tierra del Fuego, Cape Horn, Glaciers and wildlife. Take some special time for yourself, Departs March 5th 2011.
This expedition voyage starts in the majestic port of Ushuaia Argentina in the eastern side of the Beagle channel and Darwin mountain ranges.
We travel east and then south to the formidable weather beaten island of Cape Horn, to round this monumental maritime icon that sailors for centuries have held in awe.
Travel takes us back to the sheltered fjords of Tierra del Fuego where we will navigate through these breathtaking channels and snow caped mountains until we touch into the Pacific Ocean on our way to the northern glaciated regions of Tierra del Fuego where few people visit.
Weather permitting we may visit the remote whale breading island of Charles the 3rd and slip through the narrows of Gabriella channel that leads us into a different side of TDF, wildlife locations that have amazing diversity, seals, dolphins, bird life including penguins.
Hiking, exploring and discovery, great foods, wine and a life experience.
